Myrtle Avenue Box Design

Each year, Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn collaborates with the Foundation students at Pratt Institute to decorate local power boxes with artistic vinyl wraps. This is my design for the contest, based on the patterns found in the wrought-iron fences visible all across Brooklyn. I wanted to evoke themes of neighborhood and community using visual elements seen by many New Yorkers every day. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Procreate.
